Private Browsing protects your private information and blocks some websites from tracking your search behavior. Safari won’t remember the pages you visit, your search history, or your AutoFill information. This is also good to do if your having troubles accessing a site and your trying to figure out if its a caching issue.

How to turn on Private Browsing

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPod touch.
  2. Tap the new page buttonĀ .
  3. Tap Private, then tap Done.

While Private Browsing is on, Safari appears black or dark instead of white or gray.
